Helicopter Adventure with Lydia Bradey

Lydia is the first lady to climb Everest with no additional oxygen. She lives in and loves the Wanaka region.  Together with her we have put together a highly successful day using a helicopter to see her favourite parts of Mount Aspiring National Park and Fiordland, gaining special one-off permissions from the Department of Conservation to land.  Walking can be included from basic to advanced levels, all the way through to ice climbing if you are proficient.

This day can be run either with Lydia or without, as Aspiring Helicopters, our helicopter partner in this tour and a lovely family-owned company, know the locations well.  It can also be run either from Queenstown or from Wanaka.

The day is totally customised, with a helicopter and guides at your disposal and a gourmet picnic to enjoy on a remote mountain top.
