The best of New Zealand's hunting and fishing in ultimate luxury.
This is an itinerary which was designed for a group of people who didn't want to move around much and who wanted to experience the best of hunting and fishing in New Zealand. The best time of year for hunting and fishing in New Zealand is March/April. If there are people in the party who are not interested in fishing or hunting, we can of course indulge their interests with our wide range of exclusive tourism activities.
Given the high level of customisation possible as well as the huge range of possible trophy fees, price on application.
Day One 
Arrive in Auckland. VIP clearance through priority channels at Auckland Airport. Meet your helicopter(s) and head north one hour. Land at your private island in the Cavallis. Have a massage on arrival and then a meal cooked by one of the country's top chefs.
Day Two
Gamefishing on one of the country's top sportsfishers - targeting Striped Marlin (New Zealand has the world record), Yellowfin Tuna, Hapuku (New Zealand world
record), Yellowtail Kingfish (New Zealand world record). If you wish we can also do some light tackle or flyfishing for Kahawai (a native species of fighting mackerel). We can also target Broadbill Swordfish and Mako Shark.
Day Three
Continue gamefishing.
Day Four
A group of Maori warriors will arrive at your island by waka (canoe). After a fierce challenge, they will present some gifts, formally welcome you to New Zealand, join you for a lunch of traditional Maori food, and then depart. If you wish they can teach or demonstrate anything from traditional carving and weaving through to combat and healing.
Day Five
Discovery of the local area, including a helicopter trip to Cape Reinga, the tip of the North Island, and a quad bike ride along the beach and sand dunes just south of 90-Mile Beach.
Day Six
Transfer to Poronui Ranch (Central North Island) either by chartered aircraft or by helicopter. Poronui is a 16,000 acre estate bounded by mountains and home to some of the finest sika deer hunting, red deer hunting and fly fishing for trout in the country. There are frequent world records of all these species in the
area. You will stay in the very private Owners Cottage.
Day Seven
Poronui Ranch hunting/fishing.
Day Eight
Poronui Ranch hunting/fishing.
Day Nine
Spend a day exploring the geothermal region, visiting volcanoes and seeing multi-coloured mud pools.
Day Ten
Rest day.
Day Eleven
Transfer by chartered aircraft to Christchurch in the South Island. Travel by helicopter up to Claremont Estate, a 15-minute flight. If necessary we can book the entire estate for you. Claremont is a working high-coun
try 2,400 acre station, incorporating deer, sheep and a truffle farm. The lodge is a beautiful old colonial homestead which has been redeveloped with excellent taste. This will be our base from which to hunt Tahr and Chamois by helicopter. Both animals are mountain goats. The Tahr was brought in from the Himalayas almost 100 years ago and is thriving in the Southern Alps. The Chamois was brought in at the same time from Austria. They are both very difficult animals to hunt and require patience and good shooting skills.
Day Twelve

Day Thirteen
Hunting Tahr and Chamois.
Day Fourteen
Rest day. We can see the whales up at Kaikoura, cruise the Marlborough Sounds, or go down to Christchurch city. 
Day Fifteen
Take an exhiliarating helicopter flight through the middle of the Southern Alps, past Mount Cook, and down into Queenstown. Stop for lunch on the way on the lovely terrace at Silver Pine lodge. In Queenstown, stay at private luxury estate Punatapu. Queenstown is a lively, vibrant place, where you may wish to indulge in some rest days.
Day Sixteen
Trout fishing and Red Stag hunting.
Day Seventeen
Trout fishing and Red Stag hunting.
Day Eighteen
Helicopter excursion into Fiordland, seeing Milford Sound, and spending time on a charter boat fishing the
deep fiords. This is spectacular scenery.
