This is it. Without any doubt in my mind. It makes the existing "owners cottages" at the superlodges look a little ordinary. We've known about this 1,000 acre estate in the Bay Of Islands for a few years when one of our VIP clients had us helicopter them there to investigate investing in a property. For about ten days now we've had the right to use it.
It has seven private beaches, has been landscaped for the last five or so years with no expense spared. Thousands of trees and native plants planted. Walls, fences and gates which belong in a design museum. And all based around a central "Boathouse" which has been designed by a top New Zealand architect, is literally two metres away from an enormous private beach, and which has been set up for entertainment on a grand scale. You could easily wine, dine and entertain 200 people here. We get to use it for two couples. This Boathouse will be followed in about 2-3 months by a superb, enormous 4-double bedroom residence. The walls and roof are up, the kitchen is waiting to be installed. This will hapen over the next few weeks, followed by an intensive and extensive testing and bedding-in phase. It will easily be ready in time for next season.

Our aim is to have the ultimate of any New Zealand (European and Maori) beach experiences available to our clients in any style, from ultra laid back and hands off to totally frenetic and hands on. Here, the client will always be king.
