Why Compromise? We Don't.
In my ongoing series showing people just what it is possible to expect from travel providers these days - here's something I'm working on at the moment.
A US family approached me wanting 8 days in New Zealand based around taking special photographs. They're highly technically proficient and the parents have been here before, landscapes and wildlife are of interest.
Here's what we're talking about:
4 days in the Bay of Islands with a Maori guide unearthing scenery and cultural shots far far away from the crowds. And going on the Tua Tua quads for more photography and fun.
4 days at Silver Pine Lodge north of Wanaka for the ultimate views, two half-days with a world-class local landscape photographer, a day with Wilkin River Safaris for a nice bit of fun involving helicopters, jetboats and remote hiking, and some tutoring and experience of aerial photography from a helicopter, and a pilot who can find wild animals in the mountains.
How about that? Lovely, unique, balanced, unhurried. I love it.
As we say, "why compromise? we don't"
