A relatively unknown area which has a lot to offer our clients. Beyond the obvious and crowded Abel Tasman national park lie some treasures - deserted beaches, the second clearest spring in the world (the first is under the ice in the Antarctic), boutique wineries, remote hikes.
Split Apple Retreat has been responsible for drawing us to this region again and again. As soon as you get away from the crowded hiking trails, the region opens up. The rugged west is as remote as anywhere in the country but takes a long time to get to. The hills behind Nelson are quite an adventure playground. The wineries here are, in a country full of boutique everything, even more boutique than most. And very high quality. And the arts scene is alive and well.
